The Tire Shoppe Ferndale, MI Jeep Tire

The Jeep brand of automobiles has been around since the mid 1940s, producing some America’s most iconic automobiles. Initially, Jeep models were utilized for military purposes in which many of them were modeled after Land Rover. Despite the fact that the original Jeep design was inspired by other auto manufacturers; through the years, Jeep brand has certainly created a name and a distinct image for themselves. Throughout the last seventy-five years of business, Jeep has produced a wide variety of automobiles for the public. There are differing price points available for their consumers to make their line of automobiles accessible for everyone. For decades upon decades, their commitment to trustworthiness, reliability and durability has yet to waver. These are just a few basic reasons as to why people continue to choose Jeep over many other automobile manufacturers.

If you are a Jeep lover yourself, it is fair to say that you have probably found much of the statements above entirely true. That is why we work overtime to ensure a positive and safe experience while performing any sort of maintenance or tire services on your Jeep. Unlike other local tire shops, we will not advise you to put any ‘ole regular tires on your Jeep. The idea that ‘all tires are the same’ is not something practiced at our facilities. We have spent years studying and researching tire and mechanical needs of all different types of automobiles. We specialize in servicing not just American automobiles but foreign automobile manufactures as well.

We believe that a good tire shop knows the difference between high-quality and poor-quality products and performance. We know the value of not only good quality and reliable parts, but of the way in which the part is being installed. That is why we hire only the highest-trained mechanics and technicians to work on your Jeep. At our company, we will always work our hardest to make sure that you are not only safe, but that you are entirely satisfied and happy with our work.

As a tire company, we know the seriousness of good-quality and bad-quality parts and installation. Poor and sloppy work in addition to low-quality tires could mean life and death for some people. That is something that we never want any of our customers to have to think about nor deal with. That is why we work one-on-one with all of our customers to make sure that they understand what they are purchasing and how this will affect their overall driving experience.

The level of quality that your Jeep obtains should certainly not affect type of tires that you put on your Jeep. Even if you have an older Jeep, we highly recommend the same quality tires that we would for some of the most expensive types of automobiles. Safety and quality is always going to remain a top priority here at our business. We will never compromise your safety at any time.

Many of our customers come to us with many concerns regarding the cost of new tires. In all honesty, a good set of brand new tires can certainly be costly. Regardless of your budget, we will work with you to get you the tires and quality that you deserve. Unlike other companies, we will not advise you to purchase something that we know is not the best option. Making another sale is most definitely not our goal at our business. That is why we decided to open up our very own tire shop; as we know the struggles that many people endure while trying to afford new tires.

We also understand how important and truly crucial it is that your safety is never compromised while on the road. We understand that in the event of an auto accident, not only is the driver affected by this, but so are the passengers and other drivers around. If we can prevent an accident from occurring in the first place, by implementing high-quality parts and tires, we will do anything needed to see this happen for you.

The Tire Shoppe & Auto Mechanic Repair Ferndale MI

Many of our customers ask us how important the brand of the tires they select is… Although it is not simply about a brand name, it is usually the quality behind the name that is quality and something that you want to take part in. Therefore, yes, the brand and quality most definitely play a large role your safety and daily driving experience.

Do you perform any other services at your shop?

-Yes, we perform a wide variety of mechanical services to better serve you. Although new tires are incredibly important, it is also wise to replace any other damaged parts that surround the tire and wheel. New brakes and brake pads are also just as vital when replacing worn tires. Without new brakes and pads, new tires will not do the job that they were intended to do. Therefore, taking away from your overall safety.

Aren’t all tire shops exactly the same?

Most definitely not. In both our experience and our customers, we have found that there is an incredibly large difference between a good-tire shop and a poor-quality shop. Often times, tire shops will sell you anything just to make a sale without questioning what type of driving you do, what weather conditions you are typically subject to and so forth. There are many factors that we consider before making any suggestions for you.

Does the type of Jeep I drive make a difference in your recommendations?

-Yes, the make, model and year can certainly be deciding factors as to which category of tire we will have you look at. For example, if you drive a small 2 or 4 door sedan, we will not consider large tires that would be used on an SUV or truck. Each Jeep has different and very particular measurements that will better direct us at to what tires options are going to be the best fit possible.

How does the weather effect my tires?

The weather can certainly have an impact on the wear and tear of your Jeep and your tires as well. If you live in Michigan, you already know what harsh weather conditions we are subject to for many months throughout the year. If you have worn tires, you will not have the appropriate traction needed in order to stay on the road.

You may experience, sliding and loss-of-control much more often. Without the tread that new tires offer, you unfortunately will never have the traction that you need. This is important not just in snowy, winter conditions; but in summer as well. Tire safety is something that should be considered year round, and regardless of the make or year of your Jeep.

How do I know what tire pressure my Jeep needs?

Typically, this information can be found on a sticker that is located inside the driver’s side door. If you are unable to find this information for any reason, you may find the required tire pressure in the owner’s manual as well. If you are having trouble with either of these suggestions, you can always stop by and a tire shop technician will be able to help you with finding the appropriate amount. General tire pressure levels are recommended at about 32 to 35 psi.

I have a sports car, should I be purchasing low profile tires?

- If you have a sports car that is typically only used on occasion and for looks, typically low-profile, or high-performance tires are purchased. This changes the overall look of the Jeep, giving off a more sporty edge. Standard tires would not necessarily give the same look and it would change the overall drive and handling of the Jeep as well.
