Bridgestone tire company has been around as early as the years in the 1930’s. The company is better known as the Bridgestone Corporation. The Bridgestone Corporation was founded in the year of 1931 and is a manufacturer of both auto and truck parts. The founder of the Bridgestone Corporation is named Shojiro Ishibashi. Shojiro Ishibashi founded the Bridgestone Corporation in the city of Kurume, Fukuoka, which can be ultimately founded in Japan. When comparing all of the different tire brands that are offered to the general public throughout the entire world, the Bridgestone Corporation has been proven to be the largest tire manufacturer across the entire globe as of the year of 2015. In fact, the Bridgestone Corporation surpassed well known tire manufacturers such as Michelin, Good Year, and Firestone.

            On April 9th of 1930, Bridgestone Corporation produced and launched its first tire. The tire was manufactured by the Japanese Tabi Socks Tyre Division. On March 1st of 1931, nearly one whole year after the Bridgestone Corporation produced its first tire, the company of Tabi Socks Tyre Division was declared independent by the founder, which can be known as Shojiro Ishibashi. In result of this, the Bridgestone Tire Corporation then became established in a city known as Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture. The head office of the Bridgestone Corporation is located in Tokyo. The name of Bridgestone itself is named after the founder of Bridgestone, Shojiro Ishibashi. The word Bashi translates in English as bridge and the word Ishi translates in English as stone.

            Although the Bridgestone Corporation did surpass multiple, well known tire manufacturers such as Michelin, Good Year, and Firestone, the Bridgestone Corporation did in fact make an investment by purchasing Firestone. As a consequence of this, the two combined companies of the Bridgestone Corporation and Firestone, undoubtedly transitioned into one of the, if not the only, largest tire and rubber company this world has seen thus far. Due to all of the changes that the Bridgestone Corporation was foregoing under, the company decided it was best fit to establish and institute the Bridgestone Americas headquarters in Nashville Tennessee in the year of 1922. The establishment went smoothly in Nashville, Tennessee due to the fact that the Bridgestone Corporation already had existing operation with the United States.

            The Bridgestone Corporation is well known for its unique ways for technological innovations for the tires the company manufactures and produces. In Japan, the Bridgestone Corporation is proven to be the very first tire and rubber company to manufacture, produce, and market off rayon cord tires. In the year of 1953, the Bridgestone Corporation generated a revenue of more than ten billion yens. Ten billion yens is equivalent to just under nine million United States dollars. The Bridgestone Corporation specializes in manufacturing the cross sections needed for a tire. For example, a cross section of a tire includes a bead, filler, liner, nylon belt, tread, steel belt, plies, sidewall, and chafer. The Bridgestone Corporation dominated the tire and rubber company by producing high quality tires, which include all of the parts mentioned previously in the cross section of a tire.

The Blizzak LM-25 RFT tire contains a special design in the tread of the tire to make the resistance on wet, icy, and slush-covered road conditions more efficient and more enhanced.

The Bridgestone Corporation, from the moment it was founded in the year of 1931 up until the current year of 2017, the company has dominated and still maintains to dominate the tire and rubber company across the entire globe of the world.
